1 Injured in Yreka Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Louie Road
Yreka, California (September 8, 2020) – One person was seriously injured in a car accident in Yreka on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the car crash happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near Louie Road at about 5:03 p.m. September 7.
The authorities said a vehicle crashed on the roadway for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision caused the vehicle to roll over several times.
A female occupant of one of the cars was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
