At Least 1 Killed in Yermo Car Collision on 15 Freeway near Calico Road Off-Ramp
Yermo, California (November 27, 2019) – At least one person died in a car crash that happened Tuesday evening in Yermo, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at about 6:05 p.m. on northbound 15 Freeway, just north of Calico Road off-ramp.
CHP said the vehicles collided for unknown reasons. One of the cars was reportedly driving recklessly prior to the collision. One car rolled over in the crash.
One person was trapped inside one of the cars. That vehicle was leaking fuel.
At least one person died in the accident. It was not clear if there were injuries sustained in the crash.
Both vehicles were towed away from the crash scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
