Taurean Lee Among 2 Killed in Danville Car Crash on Interstate Highway 680 near El Pintado Road

Danville, California (June 8, 2020) – The Contra Costa County Sheriff Coroner’s Division has identified Taurean Lee, 26, from Antioch as one of the two persons who were killed in a two-car accident on Sunday morning in Danville.
At about 3:45 a.m., on June 7, the California Highway Patrol responded to the fatal crash on Interstate Highway 680 near El Pintado Road.
A 2020 Ford Fusion, operated by Camille Kimball, 27, of Concord, was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate Highway 680 when it crashed head-on into a 2012 Honda Civic, driven by Nettie Perkett, 46, of Antioch, according to the CHP.

Perkett and her passenger, Lee, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Kimball sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to John Muir hospital for treatment of injuries.
Kimball was arrested and will be booked into county jail for felony DUI and Vehicular Manslaughter after she is medically cleared.
