Woodland, California (July 20, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a three-vehicle crash Friday night in the area of Woodland, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 7:08 p.m. Friday, July 19, on southbound 5 Freeway near County Road 22.

As per the CHP officials, three vehicles including a semi-truck crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

Glass debris was scattered in the lanes following the crash. The roadway was cleared and all lanes opened as of 8:11 p.m.

No additional details concerning this crash were provided.

An investigation is underway.
