Woman Killed in Pala Car Accident on Highway 76 near Bodie Boulevard
Pala, California (August 21, 2020) – A woman was killed in a car crash that left a man and an 11-year-old injured in Pala, San Diego, on Friday morning.
According to a local news source, the deadly crash happened on State Route 76 near Bodie Boulevard at about 6:30 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol received information from San Diego Sheriff’s Department about a vehicle that had veered off the roadway.
A Subaru, which was carrying a family of three, was recovered about 300 feet down a steep embankment. All three occupants of the car were ejected from the vehicle during the collision.
Woman Dies, Man and Child Injured in Car Accident in Pala
A 30-year-old woman in the car was killed in the accident.
The male driver of the car was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Palomar Medical Center.
An 11-year-old boy in the car was also injured in the accident and was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
