Woman Hit and Injured by Car at Torrance Boulevard and Amie Avenue in Torrance
Torrance, California (June 15, 2021) – A 57-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Torrance on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the intersection of Torrance Boulevard and Amie Avenue at about 9:32 a.m.
The woman was crossing the street when she was hit by a 1990 Hondo Civic that was traveling eastbound on Torrance Boulevard.
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The driver was unhurt and remained at the scene of the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
