Woman Injured in Car Accident on San Pasqual Valley Road in San Diego
San Diego, California (May 8, 2021) – A 68-year-old woman was seriously in a head-on collision in San Pasqual, San Diego, on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5 p.m. on San Pasqual Valley Road.
The woman was driving a 2015 Ford Fiesta eastbound on the highway when she lost control, drifted into the opposite lanes, and collided head-on with an oncoming 2007 Volkswagen Jetta.
Both vehicles spun after the collision and the Ford was then struck by a passing 2010 Nissan Cube.
The woman was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
A 28-year-old man who was driving the Jetta sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The driver of the Nissan was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
