Woman Injured in Car Crash on Highway 121 near Napa Road in Sonoma County

Napa, California (October 4, 2020) – A woman was transported to the hospital after being injured in a car accident in Napa on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 4 p.m. on Highway 121 near the Napa Road intersection at about 4 p.m. October 3.
The authorities said a woman was driving a 1997 Toyota Corolla southbound on the highway when she lost control and drifted into the opposite lanes before colliding head-on with a 2019 Ford E350 van.
The unidentified woman was injured in the accident and was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa with major injuries. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The van driver, 36-year-old Pedro Garcia, of Fairfield, was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
