Woman Injured in Chinatown Pedestrian Accident at North Broadway and College Street
Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Car at North Broadway and College Street in Chinatown
Chinatown, California (September 7, 2020) – A 70-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Chinatown, Los Angeles, on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of North Broadway and College Street at about 5 p.m. September 4.
The woman was walking across North Broadway when she was hit by a black Mercedes sedan.
The woman suffered multiple blunt-force trauma injuries because of the collision and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The motorist fled the scene after the accident and was yet to be located.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
