Woman Killed in Roseville Car Crash on Highway 99 near Dillard Road, Jesus Hernandez Arrested
Roseville, California (January 8, 2021) – A 26-year-old woman died after being hit by a vehicle in Roseville early Friday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 99 near Dillard Road at about 2:20 a.m.
The woman had been driving her 2015 Nissan Sentra northbound on Highway 99 when she was involved in a collision.
The unidentified woman exited the vehicle to talk to the other driver when she was hit by a 1996 Volkswagen Jetta. The Jetta then crashed into the second vehicle.
The woman was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Jetta, 23-year-old Jesus S. Hernandez, of Bridgeport, Washington, is suspected of driving under the influence and was arrested.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
