Woman Dies after Long Beach Pedestrian Crash at Del Amo Boulevard and Cherry Avenue

Long Beach, California (January 9, 2021) – A woman was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Friday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 5:35 a.m., on January 8, at Del Amo Boulevard and Cherry Avenue near San Antonio Drive.
According to the police, a vehicle crashed into a fence near a sidewalk on Cherry Avenue and struck a woman in unclear circumstances.
Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Long Beach
Sadly, the woman sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
The involved driver and a passenger fled the scene on foot. Anyone with information about them is asked to contact the police at 562-570-7132.
