Woman Killed in Car Accident at Redwood Boulevard and 98th Street in California City
California City, California (June 5, 2020) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision in California City on Thursday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6 p.m. June 4, in the area of Redwood Boulevard and 98th Street.
The authorities who responded to the accident found two vehicles at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.
Officers from the California City Fire Department extricated a woman from her vehicle before being rushing her to an area hospital.
Woman Dies after Crash in Kern County
Sadly, the unidentified woman died while undergoing treatment.
Drugs and alcohol were not considered to be factors in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
