Bicyclist Killed in Winton Crash at Santa Fe Drive and Chestnut Lane
Winton, California (May 16, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday night traffic accident that killed a bicyclist in Winton.
The deadly accident transpired at about 10:30 p.m., on May 13, at the intersection of Santa Fe Drive and Chestnut Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle collided with a bicycle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
Sadly, the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if the involved vehicle remained at the crash site.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
