Man Killed, 3 Hospitalized After Willowbrook Multi-Vehicle Accident at South Alameda and 131st Streets

Willowbrook, California (September 1, 2019) – A man was killed, and at least two other victims were seriously hurt in the area of Willowbrook Sunday morning, according to California Highway Patrol report.
The fatal collision was reported at around 2:00 a.m. September 1, at South Alameda and 131st Streets in Los Angeles County.
As per the CHP report, the crash involved a Metro bus and five other vehicles which collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.

A male party sustained major injuries following the wreck. The victim was transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, where he died from his injuries. Three other people suffered minor injuries in the crash. All victims were rushed to area hospitals by firefighters and paramedics for treatment.
The crash remains under an active investigation.
