At Least 1 Killed in Whittier Car Collision on 605 Freeway near Highway 60
Whittier, California (November 5, 2019) – A fatal car crash occurred early Tuesday morning in Whittier, resulting in at least one fatality.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident transpired at about 12:22 a.m. on southbound 605 Freeway, just north of Highway 60.
Authorities said a gray SUV and another unknown car were involved in the collision.
The crash left at least one person dead. It was not clear if there were other victims.
The Nos. 3 and 4 lanes were closed following the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
