Whittier, California (March 26, 2021) – A traffic collision involving multiple vehicles Thursday morning in Whittier resulted in unspecified injuries, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.

The accident took place at Slauson Avenue and Pioneer Boulevard just about 8:30 a.m.

As per the California Highway Patrol report, a white van slammed into a bobtail box truck in the northbound No. 1 and the southbound left-turn lanes for unknown reasons.

The mishap also involved a white Landrover Defender and a green sedan.

Whittier Multi-Vehicle Collision

At least one person was hurt following the March 25 wreck.

Both automobiles were towed away from the scene.

The accident remains under active investigation.
