Injuries Reported after Whitewater Car Crash on Interstate 10 near State Route 62
Whitewater, California (April 18, 2019) – Injuries were reported Thursday afternoon after a traffic accident involving several vehicles on Interstate 10 near the Whitewater area, according to reports.
The crash, which was reported just before 2:00 p.m., happened on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 near State Route 62.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision involved three vehicles. One of the cars, described as a black Ford Expedition, rolled onto the westbound side of traffic while two others came to a stop on the eastbound side of Interstate 10.

Paramedics responded to the scene to help those who might have sustained injuries. The extent of the injuries was not immediately disclosed.
According to the CHP, traffic in both directions was closed as crews clear the scene. As of 4:00 p.m. all lanes reopened.
Further details were not immediately provided, and the crash remains under investigation.
