Possible Injuries Reported in Westminster Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 405 Freeway at Bolsa Avenue
Westminster, California (December 13, 2019) – Possible injuries were sustained in a traffic collision involving an 8-vehicle pileup on Thursday morning in the area of Westminster.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision happened on the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway near Bolsa Avenue shortly before 7:51 a.m. December 12.
The accident involved a silver Toyota Highlander SUV driven by a female party, a white Kia Forte, a light blue Range Rover, and possibly another five vehicles. The Suv operator told the CHP that another driver cut her off in the carpool lane at the time of the collision.
Possible Injuries Reported After Several Vehicles Crashed in Westminster
Paramedics arrived to the scene shortly after the wreck and attended to those who might have been injured.
It was not mentioned the extent of injuries sustained following the collision.
The crash resulted in the closure of the No. 1 lane of the highway for an unknown time.
Officials requested two tow trucks to remove damaged vehicles from the scene.
The investigation is underway.
