Westminster, California (November 22, 2019) – Two people died, and two others were hospitalized when three vehicles collided Thursday afternoon in Westminster, a local news source reported.

The accident happened at about 4:03 p.m. on Beach Boulevard near Roosevelt Avenue.

According to the article, Westminster Police Commander Alan Iwashita said a dark-colored sedan, a white SUV, and a light-blue coupe collided for unknown reasons.

The female driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger was taken to a hospital but died of their injuries.

The drivers of the other two vehicles were also hospitalized with unspecified injuries. The two patients were listed in stable condition.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
