Tesla Driver Dies in Westlake Village Crash at South Westlake Boulevard and Potrero Road
Westlake Village, California (May 2, 2021) – One person was killed after a Tesla car slammed into a telephone pole Saturday night in Westlake Village, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident, which was reported at around 7:04 p.m. Saturday, April 1, happened near the intersection of South Westlake Boulevard and Potrero Road.
As per the report, a dark-coloured Tesla was traveling in the area when, for undetermined reasons, it struck a telephone pole.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the driver trapped inside the vehicle. Sadly, the victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Westlake Boulevard between Potrero and Sycamore Canyon roads was shut down for several hours while the investigation took place.
