Westlake, California (January 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist died following a collision with a car in the Westlake area of Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, January 3.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle accident occurred in the area of 6th Street and La Fayette Park Place just before 5 p.m.
The authorities said the motorcyclist had been riding his bike in the area when he collided with a car for unknown reasons.
The unidentified rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The motorist reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
