West Sacramento, California (December 1, 2019) – The West Sacramento Police Department is investigating the cause of a pedestrian collision that resulted in severe injuries to a male party in West Sacramento on Friday night.
The pedestrian accident was reported at about 8:21 p.m. on November 29, in the area of West Capitol Avenue and Pecan Street.
Police said a dark Toyota sedan struck the 27-year-old male pedestrian from Reno on the highway for unknown reasons.
Man Sustained Severe Head Injuries After Being Struck by Car in West Sacramento
The victim sustained critical head injuries following the wreck. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Officials affirmed that the sedan operator remained at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation.
