1 Killed, 1 Injured in Weott Car Accident on Highway 101 near Weott Off-Ramp
Weott, California (January 18, 2019) – One person was killed and another injured in a crash between two vehicles near Weott on Thursday afternoon, according to the CHP.
The wreck occurred at about 4:30 p.m. January 17 on Highway 101 near the Weott off-ramp.
CHP said a 2010 Toyota Tundra was heading north on US 101 when the driver veered into the southbound side and collided with a 2017 Toyota Camry.
Both drivers were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where the Camry driver was pronounced deceased.
CHP said intoxication was not suspected to be a factor in the incident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
