Watsonville, California (November 15, 2019) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle wreck that took place in Watsonville on Thursday morning.
Authorities said the incident happened just before 7 a.m. November 14, on Freedom Boulevard near Prospect Street.
According to the report, a white SUV was attempting an illegal U-turn on Freedom Boulevard when it was struck by a black SUV. The impact pushed the black SUV into a parked vehicle and a building.
The force of the second crash launched the the parked car into a light pole.

Several people were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries and were expected to be in stable condition, police said.
The crash caused a closure of Freedom Boulevard as authorities examined and cleared the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
