Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Walnut Grove Motorcycle Accident at Walnut Grove-Thornton Road Race Track Road
Walnut Grove, California (July 3, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday night in a collision with a pickup truck at an intersection in Walnut Grove, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident log.
At around 9:49 p.m. Friday, July 2, CHP officers responded to the intersection of Walnut Grove-Thornton and Race Track roads, near the Georgiana Slough Bridge, to investigate the report of a traffic accident.
The CHP said a motorcycle collided with a red pickup truck under unclear circumstances at the Walnut Grove intersection.
Major Injury Motorcycle Accident in Walnut Grove
Arriving officers found the male motorcyclist lying on the roadway after the crash. He was then transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries. His name and current condition were not immediately disclosed.
The intersection of Walnut Grove-Thornton and Race Track roads was blocked after the crash.
