Major Injuries Sustained in 680 Freeway Motorcycle Crash near Highway 24 in Walnut Creek
Walnut Creek, California (February 5, 2020) – Major injuries were sustained when a motorcycle and a car collided Wednesday morning in Walnut Creek, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to the report, a blue Chevrolet Cruze and a motorcycle collided at about 8:40 a.m. on southbound 680 Freeway near Highway 24.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that major injuries were suffered in the accident.
Authorities shut down Nos. 1, 2, and 3 lanes as investigators worked the scene.
CHP is investigating the accident.
