Walnut Creek, California (May 13, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in the area of Walnut Creek, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

The crash occurred at around 4:43 a.m. Monday, on southbound 680 Freeway, just south of Olympic Boulevard off-ramp.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles overturned following the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.

Officials blocked lanes 3 and 4 following the crash.

All lanes were opened as of 5:35 a.m.

No other information concerning this crash was provided.
