1 Injured in Walnut Creek Car Crash on 680 Freeway near Treat Boulevard
Walnut Creek, California (February 12, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in Walnut Creek on Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened along the northbound lanes of Interstate 680 Freeway near Treat Boulevard at about 6:37 p.m.
The authorities who arrived at the scene located three vehicles that had been involved in the accident.
According to a preliminary investigation report, a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the crash pushed one of the vehicles into a third vehicle.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to John Muir Hospital for treatment.
