Vyacheslav Knyazev Seriously Injured in Rollover Crash on Hudson Ranch Road in Maricopa
Vyacheslav Knyazev ID’d as Santa Monica Man Injured in Maricopa Accident on Hudson Ranch Road near Highway 33

Maricopa, California (November 3, 2020) – Vyacheslav Knyazev, 42, of Santa Monica, has been identified as the man who was seriously injured in a rollover accident on Sunday in Maricopa, authorities said.
The major injury single-vehicle happened on November 1, on Hudson Ranch Road, about 6 miles east of Highway 33.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette, driven by Knyazev, was headed eastbound on the roadway when it lost control in a left-hand curve.
The Corvette reportedly went off the right side of the road, driving down a steep ravine where it crashed into a tree, flipped over, and landed on its roof.
As a result of the collision, a brush fire started and was contained by the Kern County Fire Department and the United States Forest Service.
Vyacheslav Knyazev Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on Hudson Ranch Road
Knyazev, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected onto the roadway. He sustained major injuries and was taken to Kern Medical for treatment.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
