Vista, California (March 25, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday evening in Vista, according to a local news source.
The major injury accident was reported just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 in the 2202 block of South Santa Fe Avenue near Palmyra Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons near the Egg Market.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was taken to Palomar Medical Center Poway. The identity and condition of the patient were not immediately disclosed.
