33-Year-Old Visalia Man Killed in Tulare County Crash Avenue 200 near Road 140

Tulare County, California (January 20, 2021) – A 33-year-old man from Visalia was killed in a traffic accident last week in Tulare County, authorities said.
The deadly single-vehicle accident transpired at about 9:24 p.m., on Wednesday, January 13, on Avenue 200, west of Road 140.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2001 Toyota Tacoma, driven by the 33-year-old man, was headed eastbound on Avenue 200 at an unknown speed when it drifted to the south, onto the dirt shoulder.
The 33-year-old male driver attempted to regain control of the vehicle. However, while doing so, he made an unsafe turning movement, and the car traveled north, across the roadway and began to overturn into an almond orchard.

Sadly, the 33-year-old Visalia man, who was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected onto the roadway, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
