18-Year-Old Driver Critically Injured in Victorville Car Accident on Interstate 15
Victorville, California (September 28, 2020) – A teenager was critically injured after a car and a tractor-trailer collided Sunday night on a freeway in Victorville, according to a local news source.
The major-injury collision took place at around 7:00 p. Sunday, September 27, in the southbound lane of 15 Freeway between Roy Rogers and Mojave Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an 18-year-old boy was driving on the freeway when he made an unsafe lane change and his 1999 Ford Ranger collided with a tractor-trailer combination, operated by a 56-year-old Bakersfield man.
As a result of the crash, the Ford rolled over and landed on its side on the right shoulder of the freeway.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and extricated the teen who was trapped in the wreckage. He was taken to Victor Valley Global Medical Center and then airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
