Rider Critically Injured in Victorville Bicycle Crash on Bear Valley Road near Mariposa Road
Victorville, California (September 27, 2019) – A bicyclist was hospitalized with major injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in Victorville Thursday evening.
According to the authorities, the incident took place on Bear Valley Road, just east of Mariposa Road at about 6:06 p.m. September 26.
Authorities said a male riding a bicycle collided with a maroon Acura sedan traveling west on Bear Valley Road.
Bicyclist Killed in Victorville Traffic Crash
The emergency crews responded to the crash and performed CPR on the rider.
The victim was then rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Acura was unhurt and stayed at the scene after the crash.
Bear Valley Road was shut down in both directions as the scene was examined and cleared.
The investigation is ongoing.
