Bicyclist Killed in Victorville Crash on Mojave Drive near Amethyst Road
Victorville, California (March 3, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning traffic accident that killed a bicyclist in Victorville.
The deadly accident occurred at about 12:29 a.m. on Mojave Drive, east of Amethyst Road.
According to the officials, a vehicle and the bicyclist were headed westbound on Mojave Drive in the number two lane when, for unknown reasons, the car crashed into the bicycle’s rear tire.
Bicyclist Killed in Crash on Mojave Drive
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital and was pronounced deceased at 1:04 a.m.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
