Man Sustains Critical Injuries in Victorville Bicycle Crash at Hesperia Road and Green Tree Boulevard
Victorville, California (March 28, 2020) – A bicyclist sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle Friday night in Victorville, a local news source reported.
The major injury bicycle collision was reported in the area of Hesperia Road and Green Tree Boulevard, near Coad Road and Eureka Street at around 7:24 p.m.
As per the report, a male party was hit by a 2008 dark gray Pontiac G8 while riding his bicycle near the intersection for undisclosed reasons.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Pontiac acquired major damage to the front passenger-side windshield and headlight.
The man was found laying in the southbound lane of Hesperia Road by medical personnel, along with Victorville Fire Department officials, who responded at the scene shortly after the wreck.

Officials said the unidentified victim was taken to Desert Valley Hospital and then airlifted to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
It was not clear whether or not the Pontiac operator, who stopped after the wreck and cooperated with the investigation, was hurt in the wreck.
The crash resulted in the closure of a stretch of Hesperia Road as investigation and clean up took place.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
