Victor Uvalles Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 280 in San Jose

San Jose, California (April 20, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was killed Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident in San Jose has been identified as Victor Uvalles, 35, of San Jose, according to the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner.

The fatal crash occurred at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 on Interstate 280 near Race Street.

According to authorities, Uvalles was riding his motorcycle southbound on Interstate 280 when for an unknown reason he fell off of the bike in the third lane and was hit by a double-trailer rock hauler.

Uvalles died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
