Victim Hospitalized after Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Collision at 10th Street and Winter Avenue in Kingsburg ID’d as Captain Kevin Clark

Kingsburg, California (December 9, 2020) –The Kingsburg Fire Captain who was injured following a suspected hit-and-run collision at an intersection in Kingsburg, Tuesday morning, has been identified as Captain Kevin Clark.

The pedestrian accident took place in the area near 10th Street and Winter Avenue at about 10:40 a.m. December 8.

A black Mazda driven by a white or light-skinned Hispanic person struck Clark while at the site of a previous day’s fire, completing an overhaul.

Due to the impact, Clark was thrown several feet into the air before hitting a telephone pole.

Clark was hospitalized with moderate injuries sustained in the wreck.

The involved motorist, aged between late 20s to early 40s, did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
