Vernon Morrow ID’d as Man Killed in Truck Crash on Interstate 5 near Highway 58 in Buttonwillow
Buttonwillow, California (December 1, 2019) – The man who was killed last month in a traffic accident on Interstate 5 near Buttonwillow has been identified as Vernon Paul Morrow, 52, of Cypress, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly crash happened Saturday, November 23 on southbound Interstate 5, just south of Highway 58.
Authorities said Morrow was driving on southbound Interstate 5 when for an unknown reason, he allowed his vehicle to drift off the road and ended up crashing into a box truck being towed by a tow truck.

Morrow died in the accident.
