Ventura County, California (February 5, 2021) – One person was killed and another was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection near Saticoy in Ventura County, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident, which was reported at about 1:37 p.m., happened at the intersection of Foothill Road and N. Saticoy Avenue and involved two vehicles.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles.
Sadly, the freed person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
One other person was taken to Ventura County Medical Center in unknown condition.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
