57-Year-Old Vasken Laurancian Died in Palmdale Motorcycle Accident on Pearblossom Highway

Palmdale, California (July 22, 2019) – 57-year-old Vasken Laurancian has been identified as the victim killed in a traffic collision involving three motorcycles and a car in Palmdale on Sunday Morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department report.
The fatal crash was reported at about 10:30 a.m. July 21, on Pearblossom Highway.
As per the LAPD report, the accident happened when a group of motorcyclists were struck by a 2010 Chevy Cobalt while waiting at a stop light. The initial report indicated that the driver of the Cobalt failed to stop at the stop sign at the time of the collision.
Laurancian was pronounced dead at the scene while the other two suffered injuries in the crash. The driver of the Chevy Cobalt stopped after the collision and cooperated with the authorities’ investigation.
Police said that drugs or alcohol were not factors at the time of the crash/
The investigation is underway.
