1 Hospitalized after Van Nuys Crash on West Vanowen Street
Van Nuys, California (February 16, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Tuesday morning following a three-vehicle crash in Van Nuys, according to a local news source.
The accident was reported at around 7:08 a.m. in the 14900 block of West Vanowen Street.
Authorities said three vehicles collided for unknown reasons on West Vanowen Street. One of the vehicles flipped onto its side after the accident.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the overturned vehicle.
The freed victim, only identified as a 50-year-old man, was then taken to a hospital in unknown condition. One other person was sustained minor injuries but was not hospitalized.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
