Valentin Godina ID’d as Man Killed in Winchester Car Accident at Winchester Road and Abelia Street
Winchester, California (September 6, 2020) – The man who was killed Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Winchester has been identified as Valentin Godina, 53, of Hemet.
The deadly car accident happened at around 3:10 p.m. Saturday, September 5, at Winchester Road and Abelia Street. Winchester Road is also known as Highway 79.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a sport utility vehicle was traveling on the roadway when, for undetermined reasons, it overturned and went off the roadway.

One of the parties involved, now identified as Godina, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
