Vacaville, CA: 3-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 505 Freeway
At Least 1 Injured in Vacaville Car Accident on Interstate 505 Freeway near Vaca Valley Parkway
Vacaville, California (October 16, 2020) – At least one person was injured Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash on a freeway in Vacaville, according to a local news source.
The accident happened just before 1:13 p.m. in the southbound lane of Interstate 505 Freeway, just north of the Vaca Valley Parkway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a Honda Accord, a big rig truck and a third vehicle. After the collision, one of the vehicles veered off the roadway and crashed into the bushes.
At least one person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by responding paramedics.
The Honda was towed away from the scene of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
