Ulises Carillo ID’d as Man Killed in Goleta Motorcycle Accident on Fairview Avenue at Stow Canyon Road
Goleta, California (February 8, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic crash Wednesday afternoon in Goleta has been identified as Ulises Carillo, 25, of Goleta, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
The tragic accident happened at around 4:20 p.m. February 6, on Fairview Avenue at Stow Canyon Road.
According to the authorities, Carillo was riding a Kawasaki Ninja when he collided with a Honda CRV for an unknown reason at the intersection.
Carillo was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The SUV driver, identified as a 34-year-old Goleta woman, was uninjured in the crash. She remained at the scene after the incident and was reportedly cooperative with the investigators.
The crash caused the closure of Fairview in both directions for hours.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
