Salinas, California (April 11, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a car accident in Salinas, Monterey County, on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about at 3:50 p.m. April 9, on Reservation Road near Blanco Road.
The authorities said 39-year-old Tyrone Burton of Salinas had been driving a 2005 Pontiac on the roadway and was slowing down when he was rear-ended by a woman driving a Chevrolet Silverado.

Burton was killed in the collision.
The 25-year-old driver of the Chevrolet was injured in the accident and was taken to Natividad Medical Center in unknown condition.
