Tustin, California (July 6, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Friday afternoon in Tustin, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to the report, the incident transpired at about 2:41 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway, just north of Highway 55.

A Honda CR-V, a Nissan van and one other car collided for unknown reasons. Debris from the crash was scattered in the lanes.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists who sustained minor injuries.

The Honda was towed away with front-end damage and the Nissan with rear-end damage.

CHP is investigating the collision.
