Minor Injuries Sustained in Tustin Car Accident on Highway 55 near 17th Street

Tustin, California (July 10, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained in a Tustin multi-vehicle accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Tustin, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision involved three vehicles and occurred at about 3:54 p.m. on northbound Highway 55, just north of 17th Street.
CHP said a red Chevrolet Equinox, a big rig, and a third car were involved in the collision.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the No. 3 and 4 lanes.
The motorists sustained minor injuries and were offered medical aid by responding paramedics.
Towing services were used to clear the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
