Pedestrian Killed in Turlock Accident on Geer Road
Turlock, California (July 30, 2021) – A man died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Turlock, the Turlock Police Department said.
The fatal crash happened in the 3000 block of Geer Road, just to the south of Monte Vista Avenue, at approximately 10:30 a.m. on July 29.
The accident happened when a man was sleeping on the loading dock driveway for undetermined reasons. According to the report, a delivery vehicle arrived and attempted to back up the loading dock before running over to the man.
Fatal Turlock Pedestrian Accident
The male party died at the hospital while undergoing treatment for critical injuries.
The involved motorist, who was not hurt in the crash, stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the accident.
