1 Killed, Another Hospitalized after Tulare County Crash on Highway 43 at Avenue 108

Tulare County, California (April 26, 2021) – One person died, and another was seriously hurt in a traffic collision that took place Monday morning on a highway in Tulare County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup took place at around 7:52 a.m. on Highway 43 at Avenue 108.
A semi-truck, a Ford Mustang and a third vehicle were involved in the crash.
At the time of the report, authorities had not yet established the cause and manner of the accident.
Tulare County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene upon receiving reports about the accident.
Authorities said at least one person was killed in the accident.
An air ambulance landed on the highway to transport at least one person to the hospital. A driver of one of the vehicles, who sustained a broken leg, was hospitalized at Kaweah Delta Hospital.
The names of the victims and the condition of the injured driver remained undisclosed.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
