Driver Injured in Lancaster Truck Accident at 14 Freeway and Avenue J
Lancaster, California (September 29, 2020) – A truck driver was injured in a fiery rollover collision in Lancaster on Monday morning, September 28.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the southbound 14 Freeway at Avenue J.
A gas tanker was traveling on the roadway when it crashed and caught fire which spread to the brush.
The unidentified driver is reported to have suffered minor injuries in the accident.
A water tanker with foam was requested to put out the fire.
All southbound lanes from Avenue I to Avenue K were temporarily closed as the scene was investigated and cleaned up.
